Community Survey of the Police Department

The purpose of the community survey is for the police department to receive feedback from randomly selected community members about their feelings on crime in Portsmouth, their experiences with the Portsmouth Police Department, their suggestions of ways the Department can improve, and their overall quality of life as Portsmouth residents. The survey documents shown below include the survey questions, the results, and comments made by the respondents. Much of the data from 2022 is compared with the results of a similar survey conducted in 2018, both linked below.
