Portsmouth Recreation's Camp FUNSTUFF

Sign ups for Camp Funstuff are Mon, February 3, 2025 for Residents. 

Camp FunStuff is an all day program for children entering grades K-5 that has organized games, group activities, sports, swimming, special events, arts & crafts and more FUNSTUFF! Camp is held in eight one-week sessions.
This year Camp FunStuff will take up to 80 campers! We will break up our roster into appropriate group sizes based on age and/or grade. Each camper must have a signed registration form on file prior to the start of camp.
Don't forget to bring a plenty of water, sunscreen, snacks and a lunch to camp each day, and a bathing suit and towel on pool days. Camp hours are Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Portsmouth Recreation's Sports Camp

Summer 2025 Sign ups will begin Mon, Feb 3, 2025.

 Sports Camp is a chance for children in grades 5-8 to practice their skills on sports they know, and get experience trying new ones! Campers will play team and individual sports, as well as competitive and backyard-style games. Most afternoons are spent at the outdoor pool. Camp will be held in three one-week sessions.
Don't forget to bring a plenty of water, sunscreen, snacks, lunch and a bathing suit and towel to camp each day. Camp hours are from 9:00am-3:30pm SHARP!
Each camper must have a signed registration form on file prior to the start of camp.

This is the perfect summer camp for those who are familiar with the sport of field hockey and those who are picking up a stick for the first time. Portsmouth Youth Cheerleading Cheer Camp

Portsmouth-Oyster River High School Varsity Cheerleading coaches and athletes bring you CHEER CAMP. Perfect for all experience levels, including those interested in trying cheerleading for the first time! This two-day camp will include dynamic warm-ups and stretching routines, cheer motions, game cheers and jumps. Learn how to stunt, with a focus on safe drills and progressions. For grades K-8 (girls and boys welcome).

Led by a USTA-approved coach, the Tennis in the Parks program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. We focus on FUN and learning the basics through play. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets and the latest engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker. Max 8 participants per class.
