Hampshire Road & Essex Avenue Project

The Essex and Hampshire Area Drainage Repair Project will replace the current failing drainage system.  The project is in the concept design stage which includes a public outreach meeting for property owners whose properties may be directly affected in some way.  This public meeting took place on July 9, 2024 on the street in front of 8 Hampshire Road.  Representatives from the City of Portsmouth and the project design firm CMA gave a brief project overview, walked the current drainage system as well as the proposed new system and addressed questions and concerns property owners had.  A future public meeting will be held for all residents within the area once a design is finalized.
